You Can Have What You Can Handle

Most people think life is about getting.

Getting the opportunity.

Getting the relationship.

Getting the money.

Getting the breakthrough.

I think it’s about becoming.

Here’s why.

God created a world that refuses to skip its own order.

Trees don’t negotiate with time.

Fruit doesn’t rush the branch.

Morning never asks permission to become afternoon.

Everything meaningful honors a process because the process protects the outcome.

So why would your life be any different?

Maybe what you’ve been calling delay is actually development.

Maybe heaven isn’t asking, “When should I give it to you?”

Maybe it’s asking, “Have you become the person this belongs to?”

That’s a different question.

Because possession isn’t random.

Possession is a product of performance.

Not the performance people clap for.

The one nobody sees.

The performance of showing up.

The performance of choosing peace when chaos is louder.

The performance of telling the truth when a lie would be easier.

The performance of staying faithful when nobody is validating the effort.

Eventually, those decisions stop being decisions.

They become your nature.

That’s when you’ve crossed over from trying…to becoming.

See, social media accidentally teaches us that exposure equals entitlement.

If I can see it every day, surely I should have it by now.

But seeing something isn’t the same as becoming someone.

Consumption creates desire.

Process creates capacity.

Those are two completely different things.

Big dreams don’t scare me.

They actually make sense.

Because if God placed the desire there, then somewhere within His order exists the version of you capable of carrying it.

Not pretending to carry it.

Not manifesting it.

Actually carrying it.

That’s why I don’t believe fruit is luck.

I don’t believe blessings are random.

I don’t believe purpose accidentally lands on people.

I believe there is an order so intelligent that it quietly develops the person before revealing the portion.

And when the two finally meet…

It doesn’t feel lucky.

It feels right.

Because by then, the blessing isn’t the biggest miracle.

You are.

The greatest evidence that God has been working isn’t always what showed up in your hands.

Sometimes it’s who quietly showed up in your heart.

And maybe that’s been the plan all along.

Not just to change your circumstances.

But to become the kind of person whose life naturally corresponds with everything God already intended to place in it.

You can have what you can handle.

Not because God is stingy.

Not because abundance is scarce.

But because God is too intentional to place extraordinary things into ordinary levels of development.

The blessing doesn’t arrive to create your capacity.

Your capacity is what welcomes the blessing.

You can have what you can handle.
